FOR Yoga teachers and teachers in

AND: Professionals who work with
pregnant women (childbirth educators, midwives,
doulas, nurses, doctors, massage therapists) who

PRENATAL YOGA strengthens and makes

partners), to connect to the ever changing body
and the growing baby. Prenatal Yoga is all about
pregnancy and birth as a powerful, natural and
spiritual event.
The yoga teacher has the privilege of assisting in
this journey. Through teaching safe postures,
labor breathing and deep relaxation/visualization,
we offer women an alternative to fear, drugs and
powerlessness. And teaching Prenatal Yoga is
fun!!!
In this workshop you will learn:
- basic anatomy and physiology of pregnancy
and the process/stages of labor
- safe and effective postures and breath-work
suitable for labor
- deep visualizations and affirmations for a
safe birth
- ways to create community for young families
